Positive Possibilities

Dear Readers,

It’s a new year! Hallelujah! The angel of the Lord, Gabriel, says to Mary, “For with God nothing will be impossible!” This is one of my favorite verses because it reminds me that the possibilities with God are endless. Not only are they endless, but when you consider God created the heavens and the earth, and that He brought Jesus into this earth wrapped in a miracle birth, that supernatural power speaks volumes. God’s supernatural power gives us new hope. New hope for positive changes. New hope for prayers seeing their manifestation. New Hope for the word of God to rise up and bring completion. New hope that God will bring to pass that which He started. 1 Thess. 5:24 ” He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. “

Habakkuk 2:2 “Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on  tablets, that He may run who reads it.”  May I suggest to you that writing down your vision is a key ingredient to seeing your vision come to pass? Once on paper, your vision becomes more weighty. It becomes more serious. It becomes something you focus on. Much like making a list helps us to remember and accomplish our to dos. Once our vision is written out, God will begin (as we ask) to release His wisdom so that we can make decisions based on our vision. This is where goals come in. I make goals every year. I used to make an enormous goal list, figuring that hitting 50% of 25 goals is a better payoff than 100% of 3 goals. But I have narrowed my list and my goals are thoughtfully prayed about.

Keeping in mind that “With God, nothing shall be impossible,” let’s consider the possibilities as if all is possible. With God means that His supernatural power is available to help us achieve as we believe. One of my goals this year is to be consistent with exercise. A while back the Lord spoke to me and said “Take care of yourself.” This says to me that I will be serving Him into my later years and I need to be healthy and strong. Our body is a house of the Holy Spirit so we want to be strong. I believe God’s grace will enable me to desire exercise.

That is just one example of a goal. Consider your goals with the Lord. What is your vision? What goals will take you towards that? What are the positive possibilities that you and the Lord can accomplish together? What is He addressing in your life? Marriage issues? Relational issues? Health issues? Job issues? Spiritual growth? I always include goals that deal with spiritual growth. Maybe it is just one word regarding spiritual growth.

It’s a new year, a new season, never lived before, go out on a limb, trust God, believe for God sized prayers to be fruitful!! You are very dear and precious to Jesus, He wants to take care of the concerns of your heart! A-men? A-men!
